    When these shrimp are harvested they are immediately immersed in an ice slurry, which will help preserve their incredible sweet taste and crispy texture. Literally, within a couple of hours, these shrimp are peeled and deveined.

    Then we use our Vacuum Fresh Packing tray to ensure our amazing shrimp are well protected on their way to your kitchen. The beauty of this packaging is that this will give an easy no-mess storage option. Whether you immediately cook them, or you decide to freeze them for a while. The vacuum pack ensures that your Sun Shrimps are ready to make into a delicious dish when you are ready.

    Our convenient 8 oz. ( 1/2 pound ) packages have enough shrimp to serve 2 persons.

    They came in an insulated cooler with dry ice.. perfect... I cooked my first tray in olive oil with just salt and pepper. They were delicious looking forward to trying other dishes but may have them same way again, before moving on, as they did taste so good. Charles Minor, Wi.

    Shipping was fast, and there was plenty of dry ice. I've been cooking shrimp my entire adult life, whether it's grilled or in a crab boil. For these, I just got a lot of water to a rolling boil and tossed them in. (After thawing in the fridge, of course.) They cooked in about 60-90 seconds and came out excellent. I had stopped eating shrimp years ago after learning about working conditions overseas and dubious sourcing. It's nice to know these shrimp are farmed here in the USA. I'll be a customer for life.

    Hello Elizabeth, Thank you for your order and support. Please see cooking method below you might enjoy! This cooking method works well for Sun Shrimp® in or out of the shell. Poach shrimp in a mixture of water and juice or wine. Flavor the poaching liquid with herbs, if desired. To poach 2 pounds of Sun Shrimp®, bring 2 quarts of liquid to a mild simmer, add the shrimp, and bring to a boil. Once the liquid boils, cook shrimp for 60 seconds, then remove immediately.
