    There is something very special about gathering with friends and loved ones for a BBQ Sun Shrimp dinner, lunch or just with cocktails.

    This package contains all the shrimp you need in order to show off your BBQ cooking skills. While most Americans are used to cleaned, headless and shelled shrimp, for direct grilling, you really need to use shrimp with their shells on. It helps contain the moisture and can give your Sun Shrimp such a beautiful look, and such an incredible taste.

    The Sun Shrimp BBQ package contains 2 x 8 oz. packages of our largest and most beautiful whole Jumbo shrimp, and 4 x 8oz. packages of our freshly harvested Jumbo shrimp tails with the shell on. We will include some bamboo sticks and a package of our special "Florida Everglades BBQ Sun Shrimp spices" and include some organic olive oil to help you prepare your season mix.

    According to the US government, this package should feed 12 persons, but trust us...these are so amazing that a party of 4 persons can easily eat all of this delicious goodness.

    So order some Sun Shrimp for your next BBQ feast, and fire up your grill. You can order the shrimp, and if not ready to cook in a day or so, then it is better to freeze them until ready to use. On the day of the cookout, make sure you defrost the shrimp (if frozen - then put the whole sealed tray in cold water, and the trays will easily defrost in about 30 minutes. Do not use hot water. Be patient, this will go very quick.

    If still fresh, or when fully defrosted, remove the clear seal cover and mix all your shrimp with the organic olive oil and spices. You can prepare the shrimp up to 8 before cooking, but make sure you keep them well refrigerated.

    Take the bamboo skewers and immerse them in water, so when you put them on the grill, they will not catch fire.

    If you want to save time later, then now would be good time to skewer the shrimp tails. We suggest not to skewer the Jumbo Whole shrimp, as they are pretty large and will not fall though the grates.

    Shrimp will cook very quickly, and it is important you have everything else ready when  putting the shrimp on the BBQ, as they should be eaten right off the grill.

    Make sure the grill grate is clean and hot. Simply place your whole shrimp and skewered shrimp tails directly on the grate and stay close. About 1 minute on each side should be plenty of time.

    Serve as an appetizer with a nice white wine or your favorite cocktail or add them to any of your favorite dishes.
