When these shrimp are harvested they are immediately immersed in an ice slurry, which will help preserve their incredible sweet taste and crispy texture. Literally, within a couple of hours, these shrimp are peeled and de-veined.

Then we use our Vacuum Fresh Packing tray to ensure our amazing shrimp are well protected on their way to your kitchen. The beauty of this packaging is that this will give an easy no-mess storage option. Whether you immediately cook them, or you decide to freeze them for a while. The vacuum pack ensures that your Sun Shrimp are ready to make into a delicious dish when you are ready.
Our convenient 8 oz. ( 1/2 pound )packages have enough shrimp to serve 2 persons.

We have been purchasing Sun Shrimp for a little while now. The 10# order fits in our small freezer so we always have some on hand for meals. We’ve ordered several times over this past summer and with each package there is never the slightest disappointment! I know that there are many ways to prepare SunShrimp, but we seem to gravitate to steaming them with Old Bay Seasoning, then eating with crusty bread and a vegetable (broccoli is the favorite) some butter on the bread and lemon wedges for the broccoli and maybe the shrimp. This is the meal we NEVER tire of. I love that I can have a sustainably sourced, USA shrimp that is conveniently delivered. SunShrimp has been my find of 2021! Thank you!
