Shipping Cost and Information

All orders include free shipping if shipped in Contiguous US states 

 

Ordering:

We accept orders online for shipment using express service or pickup at our location in St. James City, Florida; available 24 hours after order placement (Monday-Thursday; holidays excluded). 

Shipping days:

We ship Monday, Tuesday, Wednesday and Thursday; orders received on Thursday will require next day or saturday delivery upgrade chose at checkout. All order that are not upgraded of placed on Friday, Saturday or Sunday will ship the following Monday. We do not ship the day prior to any National Holidays.

When ordering online, please select the desired receive date from our handy calendar at check out.

All online orders must be received before 5 pm ET two days prior to shipment. If you have an emergency or last-minute order, please call us at 239-260-4720. A rush fee may apply.

Inventory:

Everyone loves our Sun Shrimp. Sometimes our demand exceeds our projected harvest, and all orders are subject to availability on a first come, first serve basis. If for some reason we do not have sufficient Sun Shrimp in stock for immediate shipment, or there is another delay, we will contact and notify you immediately.

We currently ship Sun Shrimp only within the Continental USA. We use express shipping services. However, we cannot deliver to a Post Office box. Please provide a valid street address, an email and phone number so we can reach you for any reason regarding your order.

Order Timeline:

Once the order is accepted by our system, you will receive an email with the order confirmation. Please make sure that all the information is correct; especially the delivery address. On the day that the shrimp are harvested, packed and shipped, we will send you a shipping notification email showing the tracking number and the estimated delivery date. You can track the shipment yourself! We ask that you make arrangements to receive the package in order to protect and preserve its perishable contents.

Packaging

All our shrimp are packed and shipped in sturdy packaging, that will hold your shrimp at the correct temperature during shipment. Be sure to inspect the FRESH TAB upon delivery (Green or Yellow indicates that your order is ready to prepare or freeze for future consumption; Red indicates that your order has exceeded industry recommended temperature for consumption.)

Sun Shrimp uses both gel packs and dry ice depending on time of year, quantity ordered and shipping distance. If we do use dry ice, this will be clearly marked on the outside of the box. IF DRY ICE IS USED, CARE MUST BE TAKEN WHEN OPENING THE PACKAGE. DRY ICE CAN CAUSE BURNS AND OTHER INJURIES. EXTREME CARE MUST BE TAKEN WHEN REMOVING THE SUN SHRIMP FROM THE PACKAGE. DO NOT HANLDE DRY ICE WITHOUT THE PROPER PROTECTION.

Delivery

Sun Shrimp is not responsible for undelivered shipments. All our shipments are authorized to be delivered with NO SIGNATURE REQUIRED. This means that your order shows up at your door, and you are not there to receive it, they will leave it at your door. You must make arrangements to make sure the package is received and quickly stored in a refrigerator or freezer. You can follow the progress of your shipment online by clicking on your tracking number.
